Tour itinerary:  Tashkent - Kokand - Fergana - Margilan - Andijan - Tashkent - Samarkand - Bukhara - Khiva - Urgench - Tashkent

Day 1 . Tashkent 

Morning arrival in Tashkent.

Meeting with the guide. Tashkent city tour includes visiting old and European parts. Sights to visit: complex "Khazret-Imam" (Mausoleum of Imam Kaffal al-Shashi, Barak-khan Madrassah, Tellya Sheikh Madrassah, Mui-Mubarak Madrassah), bazaar Chorsu, Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square, 

Independence Square, Monument of Courage and Memorial to the Victims of Repression.

Check in . Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2. Tashkent-Kokand-Fergana

Early breakfast.

Transfer to the train station in Tashkent.

Departure for Kokand by express train

Arrival in Kokand. Our guide will meet you at the train station.

The tour around Kokand (5-6 hours) starts with visiting the palace of Khudoyar-Khan Palace of 19 century, Jami Mosque. Norbut-Biya Madrassah, Modari Khan Mausoleum, Rishton ,a town (50 km west of Fergana), that is famous all over the world for its pottery that is decorated according to ancient tradition that is more than 800 years. Masters hand down their trade secrets from father to son. The unique red clay ceramic masterpieces are decorated with naturally made ultramarine, turquoise and azure ornaments known as blue glaze "ishkor".

The tour program includes visiting the workshops of the famous potter Rustam Umarov and master of silk carpets weaving Bahromjon Gafurov and visit the house of a traditional Kyrgyz family manufacturing wool carpets in Oq Yer village.

Transfer to Fergana . Overnight at the hotel.                                                                                               

Day 3. Ferghana -Margilan-Andijan-Tashkent


Transfer to Margilan. The excursion starts with visiting Said-Ahmad Hodji Madrassah where craftsmen produce original silk carpets. Visit to the local bazaar and to silk factory Yodgorlik where visitors are welcome to observe the process of silk manufacture with traditional decoration called "ikat". If the tour is on Thursday or Sunday there will be a walk around the biggest bazaar of Fergana valley Kumtepa .

Transfer to Andijan, one of the most important entrepot of the Great Silk Road. A tour around the town includes visiting The Central Bazaar, the Craftsmen street Hunarmandchilik, Art and Literature Museum, craft centre , Bog-I Shamol garden known as The Garden of Winds , Bobur Museum.

Departure for Tashkent

Arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Tashkent-Samarkand
Early breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the train station.

Departure for Samarkand by high speed train "Afrosiab".

Arrival in Samarkand.

Transfer to the hotel.

Check in. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5. Samarkand


Sightseeing tour of Samarkand with visiting: Gur-Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlan's tomb), Registan Square (a heart of the city), Bibi-Hanum Mosque, orient bazaar Siyab,
Shakh-i-Zinda Necropolis and Ulugbek's Observatory.

Overnight at the hotel.

 Day 6. Samarkand-Bukhara Countryside


Transfer to railway station.

Depart for Bukhara by high-speed train "Afrosiab"

Arrival in Bukhara.

Countryside trip includes visiting the last Bukhara's Emir's 

summer residence "Sitorai-Mokhi-Khossa" and Bakhauddin Naqshbandi mausoleum (the founder of Naqshbandi Sufi Spiritual order) Located near Bukhara the memorial complex of Bakhauddin Nakshbandi is considered as one of the most significant religious places of Bukhara that attracts many visitors as well as pilgrims. The memorial was rebuilt several times in XIV - each Emir of Bukhara wanted to build something new near the mausoleum. This complex impresses with its incomparable style of oriental architecture, which reflects the spirit of the Sufi Order.

Day 7. Bukhara


Sightseeing tour (walking) of Bukhara with visiting:

Samanids Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Haus Mosque, Ark Fortress, Minorai-Kalon and Poi-Kalon Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrassah, Toki-Zargaron, Kosh Madrassah (Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan), Magoki-Attori Mosque, Lyabi-Hause ansemble.

A visit to three trading domes (covered bazaars). In XVI century it was one of the biggest trade centers in Asia famous for its silk, jewelry and money exchange. Today tourists can also buy different souvenirs of a wide range: from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets.

Day 8. Bukhara-Khiva

Breakfast .

Transfer to Khiva via the Kizil Kum desert (475 km)

On the way there is a stop to take pictures and enjoy the picturesque views of the Amudarya River. Arrival in Khiva in the afternoon.

Day 9. Khiva-Urgench-Tashkent


Start sightseeing tour in Ichan Kala known as "Inner town":Ata Darbaza, Kunya Ark, Muhammad Rakhim-Khan Madrassa, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassa, Kalta Minor Minaret, Juma Mosque and Minaret, Islam Khodja Madrassa, Said Alauddin Mausoleum, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the last Khiva Khan Allakulikhan's Madrassa, Tosh Hovli Palace, Caravanserai and Tim Allakulikhan.

Transfer to the airport.

Departure for Tashkent by HY 62.

Arrival in Tashkent

Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 10. Tashkent


Check out

Transfer to the airport.

Departure flight.

End of the tour.
